Remember: To make your first dollar you only need a phone, a customer, a provider, and a way to take payment. Don't let setup slow you down.
Phase 1 — Days 1–7
Foundation & Setup

Goal: Business entity, tools, and first provider lined up
Business Setup
  • Choose your business name & file LLC + EIN (IRS.gov — free)
  • Register domain + G-Suite email
  • Set up CleanWorks CRM (Phone system, contact management, automated sales, etc)
  • Create a Website
  • Set up Stripe + open business bank account & credit card
Provider Recruitment
  • Post on Facebook / Craigslist / NextDoor for cleaners
  • Reach out to 25+ candidates — onboard 2 solid + 1 backup
  • Do a $100 test clean to vet quality
  • Collect: signed agreement, W-9, background check, insurance

💡 Pro Tip: Launch in a market with 50,000+ population where you know 3–5 people. Warm connections = faster first reviews.
Phase 2 — Days 8–14
First Customers (Grand Opening)

Goal: First 5 customers, first paying job
Build Online Presence
Create Facebook Business Page, Nextdoor, Yelp, and Instagram Business accounts.
Post in Community Groups
Identify 10 local Facebook + Nextdoor groups. Post a friendly intro (not salesy). Repeat weekly for 4 weeks minimum.
DM & Warm Outreach
DM every person who engages — offer a quote. Message everyone you know personally.
Phase 3 — Days 15–21
Paid Leads & First Reviews

Goal: Google LSA live, 5+ reviews, consistent bookings
Credibility & Reviews
  • Set up Google Business Profile in your target market
  • Get liability insurance ($60–$90/mo) — required for Google LSA
  • Ask every completed job for a Google review
  • Target: 5 reviews before turning on paid ads
Paid Advertising
  • Apply for Google Local Services Ads (LSA) — 1–2 weeks to approve
  • Set up Thumbtack — respond to every lead within 5 minutes
  • Start at $500/week LSA budget once approved
  • Create a Lead Tracker (name, source, status, outcome)

💡 Pro Tip: LSA leads cost real money — missing a call is burning cash. Set your phone to loudest volume and use call forwarding.
Phase 4 — Days 22–30
Scale to $1,000+

Goal: 3–5 recurring clients, $1K+ revenue, systems locked in
Revenue & Operations
  • Close rate check: aim for 40–50% of inbound quotes
  • Push for recurring bookings on every call (bi-weekly > one-time)
  • Verify all payments collected through Stripe
Cold Outreach (Optional)
  • Cold call realtors + property managers (25–50/day)
  • Script: "Hi, I run a local cleaning company — do you work with investors or landlords who need turnover cleans?"
  • Follow up with every past lead who didn't book

Pricing Call Script
Question-Based Framework — Use structure, not memorization.

STEP 1 — Opener
'This is [Name] with [Business]. How can I help you?'
→ Let them answer. Then: 'And who do I have the pleasure of speaking with today?'

STEP 2 — Set the Frame
'Great [Name] — typically how these calls go, I ask you a few questions about your home so I can give you an exact quote. Sound good?'
→ This prevents them from demanding a price before you've built value.

STEP 3 — Gather Info
Ask in this order:
  • Email address (capture before anything else)
  • Bedrooms / Bathrooms / Square footage
  • One-time or recurring?
  • What made you reach out today? Any special occasion?
  • When was the last professional clean? Cleanliness scale 1–10. Pets?

STEP 4 — Diagnose
'Got it [Name], just so I'm clear — it's a [X] sq ft, [beds]bed/[baths]bath, hasn't been cleaned in [X months], you'd rate it a [#]/10...'
→ Summarize everything back. This builds trust and frames the upsell to deep clean.

STEP 5 — Pitch + Price
'So what we'll do is go in and do a thorough deep clean, make the place look amazing top to bottom. We'll take care of this for you on [DATE] — and all of that is just [PRICE].'
■ STOP TALKING after you say the price. Let the silence work.
Objection Handling
"That's too expensive."
"Is price the only thing holding you back?" → Find their number → Pause 5 sec → "First-time promotion — I can knock $50 off. Does $450 work?"
"Can I think about it?"
"What specifically did you want to think over?" → Reveals hidden objection → Address it, then re-close. If not ready: "I'll follow up in 24hrs."
"I found someone cheaper."
"What price did they quote?" → Emphasize reviews, reliability, booking ease → "We back every clean with a re-clean guarantee if you're not 100% satisfied."
